An afternoon of sunshine, water sports, and unforgettable memories at NSYSU.

On October 15, students from the National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) IBMBA and GHRM MBA programs gathered at Siziwan Beach for “By-the-Wave at Siziwan,” a water sports activity organized to bring students together through an afternoon of adventure, relaxation, and connection. Surrounded by the beautiful coastline of Kaohsiung, participants enjoyed the opportunity to step away from their busy academic schedules and experience the fun of outdoor activities by the sea.

An Adventure on the Water

The afternoon featured two exciting water sports activities: stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking. Whether students were trying these activities for the first time or simply enjoying time on the water with friends, the event offered a refreshing way to experience Siziwan from a different perspective. With the ocean breeze, sunshine, and stunning coastal scenery as the backdrop, students had the chance to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and enjoy the excitement of being out on the water. From paddling across the waves to sharing laughter along the way, the activities created plenty of memorable moments. More than just a sporting event, the afternoon encouraged students to embrace new experiences, step outside their comfort zones, and make the most of their time at NSYSU. Safety was also an important part of the experience. Coaches and lifeguards were present throughout the activities to provide guidance and support, helping participants feel comfortable and enjoy their time on the water. This made the event welcoming to students with different levels of experience, including those who were new to water sports. By bringing together students from the IBMBA and GHRM MBA programs, the event helped strengthen the sense of community between the two groups. Sharing a new experience, encouraging one another, and enjoying a relaxed afternoon together allowed students to connect in a natural and memorable way. Activities like these also reflect the value of student-led initiatives in creating a more vibrant campus community. They offer students the chance to discover common interests, build relationships beyond their usual circles, and develop a stronger sense of belonging at NSYSU.

在陽光與海風的陪伴下，於中山大學留下水上活動的美好回憶。

10 月 15 日，來自國立中山大學（NSYSU）IBMBA 與 GHRM MBA 學程的學生齊聚西子灣海灘，共同參與「By-the-Wave at Siziwan」水上活動。這場活動旨在透過充滿冒險與歡樂的午後時光，促進學生之間的交流與情誼。在高雄迷人的海岸風光環繞下，大家得以暫時放下繁忙的課業，走出教室，享受海邊戶外活動所帶來的樂趣。

揚帆逐浪，享受水上冒險

本次活動包含兩項精彩的水上運動：立式划槳（Stand-Up Paddleboarding, SUP）與獨木舟（Kayaking）。無論是第一次體驗水上活動，還是與朋友一同享受划水樂趣的學生，都能透過這次活動，從不同的角度探索西子灣之美。 在海風、陽光與迷人海岸景色的陪伴下，學生們有機會挑戰自我、學習新技能，並體驗在海面上划行的樂趣。從乘風划槳到與同伴分享歡笑，每個精彩瞬間都為這個午後增添了難忘的回憶。 這不僅是一場水上運動活動，更鼓勵學生勇於嘗試新事物、踏出舒適圈，並充分體驗在中山大學求學生活的美好。 活動也特別重視安全。現場安排專業教練與救生人員全程提供指導與協助，讓參與者能在安心的環境中享受水上活動的樂趣。無論是經驗豐富的學生，或是初次接觸水上運動的新手，都能自在地參與其中，享受屬於自己的水上體驗。 透過這次活動，IBMBA 與 GHRM MBA 的學生有機會相互認識，進一步凝聚兩個學程之間的社群情誼。在共同體驗新事物的過程中，大家彼此鼓勵、分享歡樂，也在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中建立起更自然且深刻的連結。 這類活動也展現了學生自主舉辦活動對於打造活躍校園社群的重要價值。透過課堂以外的交流，學生不僅能發掘共同興趣、拓展原有的交友圈，也能進一步培養對中山大學的歸屬感，讓校園生活更加豐富多彩。
