Day One: Bringing the World into the Classroom | Faculty from Germany, the UK, France, Canada, and Singapore Gathering of the IBMBA x GHRM MBA Orientation 把世界帶進課堂：德英法加新師資攜手5 國師資齊聚新生始業式 IBMBA x GHRM MBA 迎新回顧

The annual international program orientation day for the new students of IBMBA and GHRM MBA took place to officially welcome the incoming cohort to National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU). The International Program Office organizers ensured a smooth arrival by guiding students through venue navigation and a short, simple registration process. The cozy and engaging venue setup immediately put students at ease as they embarked on their new academic journey. A major highlight of this year’s orientation was a dedicated faculty introduction session, designed to help new students become familiar with the professors early on and lay a clear foundation for choosing future thesis advisors. Students had the opportunity to meet and hear from Director Chung-Lin Tsai , Prof. Wil Martens , Prof. Timo Eccarius, Prof. Ryan Brading, Prof. François Bouchetoux, and Professor Wee Kheng Tan , gaining valuable insights into their academic backgrounds and research fields. Following the introductions, beloved host and GHRM MBA alumnus Ryan Fernandez returned to lead an energetic team-building session. Designed to simulate real classroom and workplace environments, the task-oriented activities encouraged students to interact with as many classmates as possible. Students formed "Home Teams," establishing distinct team names and appointing team leaders. They then participated in a series of dynamic icebreakers and challenges, including the Circle of Names, Towers of Shoes, and Candy Committee. Through these exercises, Ryan reinforced key values essential for team success, such as communication, leadership, active listening, supporting role players, trust, adaptivity, and strong accountability/ownership. After the energetic activities, the International Program Office provided delicious Korean kimbap with diverse dietary options, offering a well-deserved energy boost. The event concluded with a cheerful group photo session, followed by time in the main hall where students enjoyed their meals and connected with peers and faculty over shared experiences. Embrace the diverse cultures, step out of your comfort zone, and enjoy the exciting journey ahead. 國立中山大學 IBMBA 與 GHRM MBA 國際學程於近日舉辦一年一度的新生始業式（Orientation Day）。國際學程辦公室精心規劃引導動線與簡潔高效的報到流程，結合溫馨活潑的會場佈置，讓初來乍到的各國新生在輕鬆舒適的氛圍中開啟全新的學術旅程。 今年活動的一大亮點為「教授自我介紹環節」。為了讓新生能儘早熟悉師資陣容、為未來選擇論文指導教授做足準備，特別邀請到蔡宗霖主任、馬威爾教授、劉易教授、雷英瑞教授、林帆教授以及陳偉慶教授，親臨現場與同學面對面交流，分享各自的專業領域與教學方向。 緊接著登場的是深受學生喜愛的校友兼主持人 Ryan Fernandez 所帶領的團隊建立（Team Building）活動。今年的活動旨在模擬真實課堂與職場情境，引導新生在任務導向的互動中認識盡可能多的同班同學。各組同學迅速成立「Home Team」，發揮創意討論隊名並選出隊長。活動包含 Circle of Names、Towers of Shoes 及 Candy Committee 等多項趣味挑戰，讓同學們在實作中體會溝通（Communication）、領導力（Leadership）、傾聽（Listening）、角色分工（Role Players）、互助信任（Support & Trust）、適應力（Adaptivity）與責任感（Accountability）等團隊合作的核心價值。 活動圓滿結束後，辦公室特別準備了多種飲食選項的韓式飯捲（Kimbap），讓高強度參與活動的新生們補充能量。大家在溫馨的大合照後移師主門廳享用餐點，暢談互動心得並深化友誼。 再次熱烈歡迎所有新生加入中山國際學程！辦公室將持續作為大家最堅實的後盾，陪伴每位學子在多元文化的薰陶下成長茁壯，勇敢迎向美好的未來。
