Global HRM English MBA program

Dual Degree - GHRM, NSYSU/NBS, NTU Dual Degree Collaboration

The GHRM program has now passed through a two-day validation process (16th-17th November) with Nottingham Business School (NBS), Nottingham Trent University, UK. Following a review, NBS’s validation panel approved a new MSc Global Business and Management / International Business dual-degree program in partnership with the GHRM MBA program. The proposed dual degree partnership is now in the process of being validated and approved internally at NSYSU. The official outcome of the dual-degree proposal validation process will be announced very soon. Once the dual degree program has successfully passed through NSYSU’s internal validation process, up to five GHRM students will have an opportunity to travel to NBS in the UK to study on the new dual degree program.
The proposed collaboration with NBS is exchange-based. This means that GHRM students studying at NBS in the UK will only need to pay tuition fees to NSYSU (i.e. no tuition fees will be paid to NBS). On successful completion of all courses studied at NBS and NSYSU, students will be awarded with two degrees – one from NSYSU and one from NTU. We think that this is a fantastic academic and personal opportunity for GHRM students - to study abroad in another country, develop new insights and understanding, experience UK culture (eat fish and chips!) - and earn two degrees!
Depending on the outcome and timing of the internal validation process, we would like to offer GHRM students the opportunity to study at NBS in January 2016. Students interested in participating in this new dual-degree exchange program are therefore encouraged to begin preparing documents for the application process (which is likely to begin in December). Initially, all applicants will be asked to provide a copy of an IELTS certificate (above 6.0) and a CV (written in English).

Hopefully there will be no delays or problems in the remaining stages of the validation process and we will be in a position to advertise opportunities to study at NBS in the UK soon. However, we are working to a tight time scale and would like to ask for your patience and understanding in case of any delays or unanticipated problems (e.g. technical issues, VISA application delays).
